About Chef Danielle Christy

My love for cooking started early, inspired by time spent in the kitchen with my mom and grandma. Some of my favorite memories are built around the table chopping vegetables together, tasting along the way, and gathering with the people we love. Those simple moments shaped the way I see food today: not just as fuel, but as connection. 

My journey with food hasn’t always been simple. After going through my own eating disorder recovery, I learned firsthand how powerful it can be to rebuild a healthy, trusting relationship with food and with your body. That experience now fuels the work I do helping others approach cooking and nourishment from a place of care instead of pressure.
