Blackened salmon with mango salsa! 

So fresh and delicious you won’t be able to stop at one bite! 

4 pieces Fresh salmon 

Blackened seasoning - 3 tbsp coconut sugar, 1 tbsp kosher salt, 1 tbsp paprika and thyme , 1 tsp onion granules , garlic granules , cayenne pepper - mix together and season salmon liberally 

Add olive oil to skillet over medium heat and sear on each side until cooked to desired doneness 

Mango Salsa 
2 ripe mangos , peeled and diced 
1/4 cup finely diced red onion 
1 roma tomato , diced 
1 jalapeño, fire roasted seeded and diced 
1 bunch green onions, diced 
1 lime juiced and zested - make sure it’s a juicy one 
1 tbsp rice vinegar 
1 tsp honey 
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped 
1 tbsp of favorite hot sauce 
kosher salt 

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and adjust seasoning to taste. Let sit for 15 minutes and serve or place in the fridge and stays fresh for 3 days

These ingredients are essential for me in making meals taste delicious. Adding them to all my clients kitchens is a must. 

Easy wins when cooking at home! 

You’re welcome and happy cooking don’t forget to follow along for all the cooking fun and yumm! 

1. Anchovies- make a paste with garlic and anchovies toss with vegetable and roast or sauté anchovies with olive oil and garlic and toss with cooked veggies 
2. Fish sauce - add a splash to guacamole, toss with mushrooms and roast add into tomato sauce, braises etc 
3. Vinegar - adds so much flavor to any vegetable no matter how you cook it. add a splash or your favorite vinegar red wine, white wine acv, balsamic 
4. Black garlic - gives that delicious molasses like flavor and loaded with nutrients 
5. Hot sauce - love so many it’s hard to choose 
6. Tomato paste - the goat of the kitchen literally adds so much flavor to so many dishes 
7. Tahini - @seedandmill love it for sauces, dressings , baking etc 
8. Capers / pickled veggies - another goat use the brine in marinades , sauces, crisp them up for a garnish 
Of course always tons of spices , good quality olive oil and salt!

These are so delicious no one would know they are made with avocado. All you need is a food processor or blender and the ingredients below and you have the best brownies you’ve ever had! Follow @chefdaniellechristy for all the recipes and cooking ❤️

#recipe 
1 ripe avocado
¼ cup creamy almond butter 
¼ cup maple syrup
2 eggs
1/2 cup coconut sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tsp espresso powder 
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder
1/3 cup almond flour
1 scoop chocolate protein powder @equipfoods ( code Chefdanielle) 
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
½ cup chocolate chips 

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch square cake pan with oil. 
In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the avocado flesh with the almond butter, maple syrup, eggs, coconut sugar, and vanilla.
Blend until very smooth.
Now add the espresso, protein , cocoa powder, almond flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend until the mixture is fully incorporated and smooth. 
transfer the brownie batter to your prepared cake pan. Sprinkle the top with chocolate chips. 
Bake for 18-25minutes, until the edges are firm or the center is slightly giggly. Feel free to bake until a toothpick comes out clean I like mine on the gooey side . 
Let cool in the pan slice and enjoy!
