Tahini is hands down the ingredient I use most in the kitchen. Not just for it nutrient profile but the depth of flavor and creaminess it brings to dishes.
Tahini is a paste made from finely grinding sesame seeds until it creates a buttery, smooth, vegan paste used in both sweet and savory dishes. Tahini is rich in many nutrients, including protein, fiber, copper, selenium, and phosphorus. A staple in middle eastern and mediterranean cooking.
For this sauce all you need are a few ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.
The key to make the sauce super creamy is the cold water. So make sure you use chilled water it will also help then sauce and herbs from browning. I love using this sauce with grain bowls , fries , chicken and salmon honestly anything.
Lasts in the fridge for a week! Happy cooking xoxo
