My go to on making a delicious tomato sauce add a Parmesan rind while cooking your sauce adds so much depth of flavor! A chunk of carrot adds a hint of sweet to balance out all the flavors! Store bought or homemade sauce this is always a win.

I also love to add Parmesan rinds to soups, stews, the water when cooking rice and grains ! Keep some in the freezer so you can use anytime

Hit that follow if this kind of cooking is your jam @chefdaniellechristy !

Staying hydrated in the summer is a full time job. Staying hydrated in the summer is a full time job. Save and share this recipe it’s also kid approved! Adult approved too because aren’t we just big kids 😂

* 2 1/2  cups chopped watermelon
* 1/2 cup coconut water
* 1/4 cup lemon juice
* 4 scoops pineapple electrolyte mix @redmondrealsalt
* 4 tbsp beef gelatin

Place watermelon, coconut water, electrolytes and lemon juice in a high powdered blender. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Pour mixture through a strainer/ cheesecloth into a saucepan. You should have about 1 1/2 cups of juice.

To the pan add honey and sea salt and whisk to combine. Heat mixture over low heat until it warms. You don’t want it to get too hot, just barely warmed. Slowly whisk in gelatin. Let it sit for a minute two to allow the foam to disappear.

Pour into a silicone mold or a greased glass baking dish. Place in the fridge for 2 hours or until firm. Remove from mold or cut into bite-size pieces if using a glass dish. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Tip -1 sauté some aromatics like onion and garlic in the pan before adding quinoa

Tip - 2 toast the quinoa adds another layer of flavor

Tip 3- add a chunk of Parmesan cheese while cooking adds a ton of flavor

What’s your favorite way to eat quinoa ?
