Is there anything better than biting into a perfectly crispy, slightly salty, warm french fry? Honestly, I don’t think so!
These Crispy Baked French Fries are seriously delicious and have the perfect amount of crunch!
Fries get a pretty bad reputation because of fast food. A lot of people think that they have to be unhealthy, when in reality – potatoes aren’t the enemy!
When you bake potatoes with heart healthy oils they actually aren’t as bad for you as many people think. Potatoes offer a great variety of nutrients from vitamin C, beta carotene for sweet potatoes and great source of carbs and resistant starch which is gut friendly!
The spice mix for these potatoes is something I keep on hand in my pantry. Its flavor packed and delicious cheesy from nutritional yeast, a hint of onion and smoked paprika for that amazing flavor mix. My favorite spices are from Burlap and Barrel they are packed with so much flavor a game changer for delicious food.
Two key tips for when baking potato fries is to soak them in water and dry them really well then bake at a high temperature. You can try an air fryer as well but I have not used one before so you may have to adjust cooking times.
These fries are fantastic to add to any meal from steak to burger night or meal prep for an easy side dish. Make sure you cut them into the same size so they cook evenly and dip in your favorite sauces! Happy Cooking XOXO
